WARF startup Echometrix appoints Samuel W. Adams as new CEO; closes seed funding round

Echometrix appoints Samuel W. Adams of GE Healthcare as CEO while finishing its $250,000 seed capital round to bring its dynamic ultrasound technology to the commercial market.

“Adams succeeds Barbara Israel, founder and former CEO, who will remain as chair of the board. Adams holds an M.B.A. in entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and previously served as COO of Echometrix…The startup company also has received a $250,000 technology development loan from the Wisconsin Department of Commerce.”
